DANCE STUDIO 84 
Under the direction of Carla Smallwood for more than 23 years now, Dance Studio 84 is a very organized and professionally run business. At the same time, a friendly and fun atmosphere is maintained where all can be part of a huge extended family. Many of the staff members – whom are all extensively trained dancers, performers, and instructors – have been affiliated with the studio for more than 15 years. With such a wonderful faculty and facility, they are able to provide a curriculum that can cater to the most beginner student and a professional level dancer at the same time. Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop, Special Needs, Boys Only, Lyrical, Yoga – and our own “Company 84” performance group – are offered in a variety of levels. It is Dance Studio 84’s mission to introduce and pass on a love of dance to their students, teach the correct techniques in each style, help each student reach their potential, while instilling the value of discipline and dedication. This all helps to build a strong self-esteem, which is enhanced with many opportunities to perform. We are very busy throughout the year with Spring Recitals, December Nutcracker Ballet, Holiday Variety Shows, Competitions, and many community events including parades, expos, concerts, high school dance team Shows, and so much more. It is a fun place to be – and a great place to grow up!
