Field Capable Clinical Services
  • Help for individuals who are unable to access mental health services in a traditional mental health setting. 
  • The majority of services are provided in the field or in community based settings. 
  • Services may include:  outreach/engagement, comprehensive assessment, individual, family, and/or group therapy, co-occurring disorder assessment / treatment, life skills education, benefits establishment, emergency fund access, linkage with self-help / peer support services
Asperger's Disorder Services at College of the Canyons
  • Young adults participating in the Hart School District’s Transitional Learning Charter (TLC) Program are eligible for Asperger’s Disorder services at College of the Canyons.
  • Groups, led by a mental health clinician, emphasize independent living skills, communication training, social skills development, life skills development, adjustment to college and community integration.

CalWORKS

CalWORKs provides help for clients re-entering the workforce after receiving welfare support.
  • Help for individuals who have mental health issues inhibiting their ability to find employment
  • Comprehensive services may include: individual, family, and group therapy, life skills training, parenting education, supported employment, co-occurring disorders assessment/treatment, linkage to domestic violence services; linkage to children’s services, psychiatric assessment/treatment, case management, transportation assistance and structured child care.
CalWORKs Domestic Violence Program
  • Help for CalWORKs participants who are impacted by domestic violence
  • Services may include: clinical assessment, individual, family and group counseling, crisis intervention/safety planning, linkage to legal aid, linkage to children services, linkage to emergency services, linkage to emergency shelters, linkage to mental health services, linkage to children’s services, case management, domestic violence education and support groups, life skills training, parenting education, court accompaniment, transportation assistance, and structured childcare.
