Adult Services Overview

Treatment for adults focuses on treating the entire family unit, rather than only the adult. When a child is determined to have mental health issues, the child is seen individually at the Child & Family Center.  In addition, treatment is designed to be short-term, focused on goal setting and moving the client toward self-sufficiency.  Upon completion of treatment, clients are encouraged to participate in recovery groups.

Services are provided in the field or in community based settings and include:

  • Comprehensive assessments
  • Individual, family and group therapy
  • Assessments for substance abuse
    with a mental health disorder
  • Life skills education
  • Emergency funds available
  • Linkage with self-help/peer support services
