10th Annual Child & Family Center Golf Invitational
The Center’s 10th annual Golf Invitational held on Monday, July 14 was a great success. Twenty-five foursomes participated in the event which grossed $58,455 and net $44,538 -- an increase of $5593 over 2007. The higher net was largely due to the fantastic rate we received from the Tournament Players Club. The weather was comfortable, the golf terrific and the food prepared by chef Daniel Otto at TPC was fabulous. Special thanks to co-chairs Anna Ott and Diane Ayres and committee members John Geraci, Karen Campbell and Tony Watson who worked so hard on the tournament. Also, thanks to the CFC Women’s Auxiliary for producing a great silent auction, our generous sponsors, players, local businesses and volunteers who contributed to the success of the event.
