Araceli Verdin is the Human Resources Manager at Child & Family Center and is directly responsible for the oversight of the Human Resources department, including recruitment & retention, onboarding and orientation, engagement programs, leaves of absences, payroll, benefits administration, employee relations, and worker’s compensation. She joined Child & Family Center as the HR Generalist in 2017 and transitioned to HR Manager in January 2020.
Araceli has supported senior management teams in a variety of HR roles for hotels and nonprofit agencies for various years. Her extensive experience and enthusiasm for audits, process improvement, and working with others has contributed to her success in supporting and developing organizational missions and goals consistent with employment practice while helping people find joy in their work. Araceli’s joy in her work is leading her CFC team to strive for success and support its people to provide meaningful work.
Araceli received her B.S in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Human Resources, at California State University, Northridge. She enjoys solving puzzles on Wheel of Fortune, creating abstract art, and going on fun adventures with her husband.
