Carolyn Labbe, M.S., LMFT, Vice President of Clinical Services, joined Child & Family Center June 2018 as Vice President of Clinical Programs, overseeing all programs assuring quality care and leading efforts to expand Domestic Violence, Substance Use Disorder, and community mental health services in the Santa Clarita Valley. Ms. Labbe has over 20 years of community mental health experience, including but not limited to direct care working with Domestic Violence victims in a permanent shelter environment, Clinical Supervisor of Outpatient and School Based Services, Program Manager, Regional Director, Director of Intensive Services, Director of Substance Use Disorder Programs which Ms. Labbe created and implemented within a former community mental health organization. In these senior management roles, Ms. Labbe was responsible for daily operations similar in size and scope to C&FC and produced significant improvements in productivity, service quality operational efficiencies, employee retention, financial health and continued collaboration with outside partners such as Department of Mental Health, Department of Child and Family Services and Department of Probation. Ms. Labbe was also an adjunct professor for California Lutheran University providing Clinical Supervision to student trainees and teaching master level courses to students within that program. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University Northridge and her Masters of Science in Counseling option Marriage and Family Counseling from California State University Northridge.
