In observance of Veterans Day, Child & Family Center will be closed on November 11th ⭐️.
However, our commitment to serving our community remains unwavering. Our 24/7 Domestic Violence Hotline ☎️ and Emergency Shelter 🏠 will continue to provide vital support and services to those in need. If you require assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact us at 661-259-4357.
For mental health support, the National Suicide and Crisis Hotline at 988 is available around the clock. The 988 Lifeline offers free, confidential assistance for individuals in distress, with services provided in both English and Spanish.
We extend our sincere gratitude to all Veterans for their service and sacrifice!

🌟 What an incredible evening! 🌟
Last night, Child & Family Center gathered with our amazing donors, partners, leadership, and friends to celebrate the heart of our mission at our Donor Appreciation Reception. Your generosity makes a lasting difference for children and families across our community and together, we have so much to be proud of this year!
✨ In FY 2024–2025, the Child & Family Center served 2,157 clients and supported 4,285 family members and caregivers through our Outpatient and Intensive Mental Health, Psychiatry, Pathways to Recovery (Substance Use Disorders), and Domestic Violence Services programs.
💙 In total, we provided 92,696 sessions including therapy, counseling, group therapy, parenting classes, art therapy, psychiatry, case management, and foster parent supports.
None of this would be possible without you! Your continued support helps us bring change, healing, and thriving to families every day.

🌟 Employee of the Quarter: Cindy! 🌟
We’re thrilled to recognize Cindy for her outstanding impact this quarter. Her dedication, compassion, and expertise truly made a difference in the life of one of our families.
Cindy worked closely with a father to help him build a stronger bond with his child and learn effective, nurturing parenting strategies. Because of her guidance and support, the client made remarkable progress — and ultimately graduated from Wraparound successfully.
Her work embodies the heart of what we do. Thank you, Cindy, for going above and beyond! 💛
What are Wraparound Services?

✨ This week, our very own Heather Newton, Director of Talent and Training, traveled to New York to join a panel of HR leaders discussing the future of employee benefits — from rising healthcare costs and AI to the needs of a multigenerational workforce.
We’re so proud that Employee Benefit News highlighted Child & Family Center as a nonprofit offering a competitive, future-ready benefits package for our amazing team! 🧡
Our employees are the heart of what we do. In a field where pay is hard to compete with for-profit and government agencies, those who stay in nonprofit social services have the biggest hearts and deepest commitment to community.
We’re so lucky to have Heather leading the way in building a workplace where people feel valued, supported, and inspired to make a difference every day. 💪🧡
