KHTS Interviews Center Staff Regarding National Stalking Awareness Month

One in six women and one in 19 men have been stalked at some point in their lives, in observance of National Stalking Awareness Month, experts are offering identifying markers of the serious crime, as well as tactics for victims to keep themselves safe.

Along with intimate partner and sexual violence, stalking is a crime that goes chronically underreported, especially since almost three-quarters of all stalking victims know their stalkers in some way, usually as a former or current intimate partner, according to the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence.
